On the one hand, it's still arguably the most enjoyable RPG experience I had (though most of it due to mods), and the game is certainly the most epic and graphically lush I've played on the other hand, the game is also totally un-balanced, unstable and bug-riddled, as well as missing so many features that make it a good RPG game. Jesus, I have such an ambivalent feelings about this game. Since spells stick with the player, theyll keep the hot key assignment till otherwise reassigned. Once a hotkeyed weapon leaves the players inventory it looses the hotkey status tho it can still retain the favorite status. Then un-favorite and drop the weapon (or otherwise get rid of it). Hopefully, through watching this video and reading blog post, you can start to uncover easy ways to start implementing hotkeys inside of your video production. Assign the key on the spell to a junk weapon. But then I guess Skyrim's devs missed the ball on many such features. Setting up your hotkeys in OBS will be a rewarding process and some upfront planning could go a long way. And what I understand less is how the devs could neglect such an essential RPG game feature. After exiting the favorites menu when you press left or right on the D-pad you should switch to whatever equipment you set with that direction. I am reading some claim that a graphical hotbar would be technically too difficult for modders on Skyrim's engine? I don't understand - it seems in theory not too difficult. First, open up your favorites and scroll to whatever you want to hotkey, then hold left or right on the D-pad until a 1 or 2 appears next to the item.
Overall AH Hotkeys has quickly become one of my 'cant live without' mods Be sure, to download and install the controller map for numpad hotkeys. It doesn't add a graphical hotbar, but has alot of features including autocast and allows for much more hotkeys than vanilla SkyUI. One of those mechanics is stamina - the amount of endurance your character has, a higher stamina level means you can sprint for longer, perform more power attacks, etc before running out and having to wait for it to restore. unfortunately in Skyrim there are many mechanics similar to those in the real world.
